Topological optimization in Simcenter 3D
April 15–16, 10am to 1pm( registration is closed)
Topological optimization is a design method that makes it possible to optimize the geometry of a product under given operating conditions and objective functions. The course students will learn about two topological optimization modules of Simcenter 3D: Topology Optimization for Designers (CAD optimization), and Simcenter Nastran Topology Optimization (CAE optimization).
It will be instrumental for specialists who are concerned about the reduction of product mass and material consumption without losing the strength, those who are only thinking about additive manufacturing, and anyone who wants to understand the workflow of topological optimization.
The course comprises two sessions (four academic hours each).

Designing logic circuits and preparing a harness drawing in Capital; Creating electrical harnesses in NX

The course covers tools for logical circuits designing, topology diagrams, harness routing in 3D (NX), harness drawing preparation, creation of rules for assigning additional components of drawing elements (insulation, connector components, etc.), and drawing up of design documentation. It is held for users who design various electrical harnesses for products.
For the convenience, we divided the course into five short lessons (four academic hours each).
