Project summary

In the project, Borlas Group provided the environment for:

• Designing complex products;
• Digital BOM management;
• Master data management.

The solution capabilities allow for approving and making changes to the design documentation in electronic form, which contributes to a significant reduction in labor intensity and duration of approval procedures and improves the quality of design documentation.

Hardware and software complex powered by Teamcenter^® PLM system provides:

• Reduced time and cost of design preparation for production guaranteed by:
  • 3D model applications;
  • Approval of design documentation for manufacturability in documentation release;
  • Reduction in design data development time;
  • Reduction in time to make changes.
• Improved quality of design documentation guaranteed by:
  • Application of a 3D model as an original design documentation;
  • Controllability and transparency of design preparation for production.
