- Preventing theft of metallurgical products of the polar branch of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel and the entry of prohibited and dangerous substances, materials and products into the territory of the plant;
- Exclusion of score goal and tactile inspections of personnel, their hand luggage and personal belongings.

Project info
Borlas Group deployed and integrated the Metallurgical Products Detection System with the technical security system for the Customer's facilities. The system to collect and process data provides management of access control subsystems, light and sound alarms, and also makes it possible to analyze and store data received from scanning devices.
Here are the products introduced:
- SafeScout 360 Radar Scan Portal (ProVision currently 2);
- HI-SCAN 6040i X-ray TV unit;
- Communication system;
- Television surveillance system;
- Sound and light alarm system;
- Data collection and processing system.
As part of the project, a regulation was developed for passing the control of enterprise employees through the non-contact screening of personnel, a program and methodology for testing the non-contact screening system were prepared. Borlas Group also conducted special training for employees of the security service of the polar branch of OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel.
Project results
- Implementing a security system that fully complies with the current level of development of special security technologies;
- Improving the level of professional competence of security personnel. The personnel were trained on a system to inspect people and their luggage. They also built expertise in both functional and technical characteristics of the Metallurgical Products Detection System, as well as in control regulations, operating instructions, and user manuals.
- Minimizing the influence of the human factor in personnel control to prevent theft of metallurgical products from the Customer's facilities;
- Improving the security level of the enterprise as a whole.
