Developing Unified Information Environment

Project goals

  • Building the UIS (Unified Information Environment for the development and serial production of individual products) to support the joint operation of automated control systems for design and process preparation of production, integrated logistics support;
  • Automation of collective work of personnel and heads of departments and engineering offices of main production shops in the development, preparation of production and support for the operation of products.

Project deadlines

February 2018 – November 2020

Project summary

Here are subsystems implemented in the project:

  • Product data management (PDM);
  • Program, project and cooperation management;
  • Master data management;
  • Product computer-aided design (CAD);
  • Technological preparation of production (TPP);
  • Integrated logistics support (ILS);
  • Electrical computer-aided design (ECAD)
  • Design of hydraulic, pneumatic and gas systems;
  • Design of kinematic systems (Kinematics);
  • Design of control systems;
  • Automation of experimental research and testing;
  • Computer-aided engineering (CAE);
  • Requirements management (RM);
  • Design and integration of product systems, given their physical features of work, mutual influence, external conditions;
  • Planning, managing and monitoring production and logistics;
  • Integration solutions.

A functional feature of the UIS is the automation of all the main stages of the product life cycle:

  • Scientific research to create a prototype of aviation equipment:
    • Research work;
    • Preliminary design.
  • Development work:
    • Draft design;
    • Technical design;
    • Development of detailed design documentation;
    • Prototyping;
    • Ground and flight testing of prototypes;
    • Correction and approval of detailed design documentation for launching the product into mass production.
  • Mass production:
    • Organization and modernization of production;
    • Mastering new technologies;
    • Technological preparation of production.
  • Operation and repair.

Project results

  • Reducing the complexity of product design, development of design, technological and operational documentation;
  • Ensuring the safety of the use and storage of design, technological and operational documentation of the enterprise;
  • Flexible management of cooperation due to the availability of equipment and employee loading plans in the system, the possibility to quickly re-plan production;
  • Improving labor productivity at all stages of the product life cycle;
  • The possibility to scale the UIS to meet the new goals and objectives of the enterprise;
  • Reducing time, improving the quality of orders for the development and production of aviation equipment.
