Content and Document Management (Publishing System) is a comprehensive solution for the development, updating and publication of operational documentation of complex technical products. The software is based on the principle of separating content from design, which enables the process engineer preparing the operational documentation to fully focus on the text.
Publishing System is powered by Teamcenter®, which provides an associative link between the product structure and operational documentation. Single platform for managing the product structure and operational documentation enables the enterprise to automatically manage changes in the operational documentation considering the design changes of the product.
The architecture of the Publishing System solution is based on the Teamcenter Content Management and RapidAuthor for Teamcenter (Cortona3D RapidAuthor) modules. Content Management is responsible for the functions of storage, reuse of data modules and publications, as well as launching tools for generating the final representation of the document. RapidAuthor applications are the development environment for data modules (interactive, text, catalog, illustrative) and provide the import of the required data of the electronic layout of the product into the documentation being developed.
